いやぁ、この曲が流れてくるとワクワクします。私を含め、普段ドラマを観ない層まで巻き込んで大変なことになっているフジテレビ系ドラマ『HERO』のサントラ。これまでのサントラはドラマや映画を観ていないと面白くないものが多かったと思いますが、これはたとえば『HERO』を知らなくても曲として面白いものが多いのが特徴。特に見事なのがオープニング・テーマのオーケストレーション。派手にブラスを重ねながらも耳にうるさくない、「これから何が起こるんだろう」と期待を持たせるアレンジがすばらしいです。 (木戸美絵) --- 2001年04月号
