アルフィー唯一のカウントダウンライヴのビデオ。
今まで年越しライヴは必要ないというスタンスだったらしいが、やはり世紀と世紀の区切りは特別なようで、2000年（20世紀）から2001年（21世紀）の区切りの夜、初めてカウントダウンライヴを行った。
何でも、もう二度と年越しライヴをする予定は無いという。
そういう意味では、非常に貴重な1作だ。

曲目は、現在アルフィーを好きな人でも、また、以前少しだけ好きだった人でも知っているナンバーがずらり。
最近のアルフィーを知らない人なら「懐かしい！」と声を上げる曲もあると思う。

彼らと一緒に20世紀を駆け抜け、21世紀も一緒に走り続けるのなら、是非見て欲しい1作だ。

ちなみにこの日のライヴのチケットは、抽選販売で、生で見たくても見れなかった人が多数いる。
激戦を勝ち抜いた人だけが体験したライヴということになる。
演奏する側は勿論そうだが、参加した側も、自分達が貴重な体験をしているのだという実感を持って、その場にいる。
こういう緊張感は、夏のイベントのビデオでは味わえないと私は思う。

アルフィー初のカウントダウンコンサートは、その舞台を2000年から2001年という世紀越えの一夜の、神戸の地を選んで行われた。チケットとして配布されたSWATCHを持ち、観客は全国各地より神戸に集まった。そして開演。ここまでのTHE ALFEEと共に過ごした時間を象徴するような曲の数々と、やがて迎えた新しい世紀へのカウントダウンの瞬間。参加した人はその瞬間の感動を再び手にするために、参加していない人は、彼らの20世紀へのはなむけと21世紀への挨拶を聞くために是非このDVDを見て欲しい。

20世紀から21世紀へと移り変わるその時にTHE ALFEEの力強い声がこだまする。
