結成十何年になるのかわからないが、しぶとく活動を続けるライダーズ。去年ポットショットとのスプリット盤で、また別の層にも存在感をアピールしたようだ。そうしたなかで出したセルフ・カヴァー・アルバム。80年代のハードコア・パンクの波にもまれず、ラモーンズばりのスピード感のメロディアスなパンクを貫き、言ってみれば90年代のメロディック・スピード・パンクの原型を作った。しかも、日本語の歌を組み合わせた唯一無二のスタイルなのだ。とてもわかりやすいから、今のパンク初心者にウケそうな予感大。 (行川和彦) --- 2001年04月号

　デビューから疾走り続けるＴＨＥ　ＲＹＤＥＲＳが、満を持してリリースしたケジメのセルフカバー・アルバム。

　こうやって改めて振り返って聴いてみると、楽曲の良さが際立つ作品が多い事に気付かされ、色々なバンドに影響を与えた理由も納得できる。新メンバーのＢＥＬＬＥＹも決して巧くないのだが、ラフィン時代より伸び伸びとプレイしてる様で好感が持てて良い。スピードを増した新旧織り交ぜた曲は、身体を動かしたくなるナンバーばかり。上質のジャパニーズ・パンクロックがここにある。
　先ずは聴いてみて、そしたらＬＩＶＥに足を運びましょう。彼等の真価はライブ・パフォーマンスを観ないとわからない。
