様々なゲストを迎えて制作されるハードロック・プロジェクトBRAZEN　ABBOTで名を知られるブルガリア人ギタリスト、ニコロ・コツェフが０１年に発表したのがこの作品。
ノストラダムスをモチーフに作られたこのロック・オペラ作品は、これまでの関連作品には有り得ないほどの豪華キャストを配した極上の逸品。

ＣＤ２枚組み約１００分にわたる至高のドラマティック・ハードは、ニコロの集大成とも言うべきクオリティに仕上がっており、そんじょそこいらのコンセプト先行のアルバムなど足元にも及ばない。

まずゲストが凄い。

神の声を持つ男、グレン・ヒューズをはじめ、歴戦の名シンガー、ジョー・リン・ターナー、ミスター北欧ヴォイス、ヨラン・エドマン、七色の声を持つ鬼神、ヨルン・ランデ、現YNGWIEバンドのドゥギー・ホワイト、そして女性ロック・シンガー、アランナ・マイルズとサス・ジョーダンと、まさにファン垂涎の布陣。

そしてバック演奏を務めるのは、ギタリストのニコロ他は、ジョン・レヴィン（ｂ）、イアン・ホーグランド（dr）、ミック・ミカエリ（Key）というEUROPE組。

これだけでも十分かもしれないが、その顔ぶれに負けていない楽曲の充実度も特筆に価する。コンセプト作だが、個々の楽曲が独立した魅力を持っており、それぞれ単体でも十分に楽しめるのが、また素晴らしい。

時に弦楽を伴い、時にクワイアを伴って壮大に迫り来る楽曲は、各々の要素がでしゃばりすぎることなく、かといって控えめでもない、まさに熟練の技のみが成し得る大人のハード・ロック。

ぶっちゃけ、これ買った時はそのサイクルがロックではなかったんで長い間聴いてなかったんだけど、最近になって引っ張り出して聴いてみたら、これがビックリ(;ﾟдﾟ)ﾎﾟｶｰﾝ

特にスピーディなわけでもなく、無茶苦茶即効性があるわけでもない、聴き込むほどに旨味が増す濃密な内容のため、聴き手を選ぶかもしれないが、品質は文句無く一流。

機会があったら是非チャレンジしてみて欲しい。
