平成の歌姫・浜崎あゆみを世に送り出した記念すべき最初の曲です。
余計なものを省いたシンプルな曲調、飾りっ気の無いストレートな言葉たち。
最近の曲から浜崎さんを知った方は、色々なものがかなり違う事に少々驚かれるかもしれません。
PVを見ると、その差はもっと歴然とするはず。
けれどこの時の彼女にしか発せられない何かは、確実にあったように思います。
そして今の彼女にしか伝えられないものもある。
「poker face」はそんな浜崎あゆみの第一歩、そして現在の浜崎あゆみがどれだけ
変化を遂げる事が出来たのか、よく示している作品ではないでしょうか。

ちなみにD-Z Spiral Delusion Mixはかなりオススメです。
このMixで、今の浜崎さんにもう一回poker face歌ってほしいな。

もはや説明不要の歌姫、浜崎あゆみさんのシングル｢poker face｣の再発売版がコチラです。
98年に発売された懐かしの8cmシングル版はもう既に廃盤、入手が非常に困難とされているようなので、8cmシングル版をお持ちでない方は是非お勧めしたい作品です。

歌い方・詞の書き方・ジャケット・・・。全てにおいて最近のayuとは全く異なっているので、ファンなら手にしておきたいですよね。
リミックスも収録されていますから、そちらの方面が好きな方もきっと満足できるはず。

この作品は、新人では非常に難しいとされていたオリコンチャート20位にランクイン、浜崎あゆみの存在がタダモノではないことを証明したデビューシングルです。
今とはちょっと雰囲気が違うayuをこの機会に感じてみてはいかがですか？
