バッハのチェンバロのためのトッカータ７曲を収録したＣＤで、「ＢＡＣＨ２０００」からの分売盤です。
アスペレンの演奏は完璧なテクニックに熱い気持ちのこもった見事なものです。このＣＤでも速めのテンポで流れるように爽快な、実に気持ちのいい演奏を披露しています。

チェンバロ（ミヒャエル・ミートケ製作、１７００年頃）の美しい音色にも心がシビれるＣＤです。
