5.0 out of 5 stars モーツァルトはいいな~、ウィーン・フィルはいいな~と素直に感じる演奏です。, 2003/12/12
　まるで語りかけてくるかのようなモーツァルト。テンポは遅いけれども、先入観を捨てれば良い演奏です。強引なところが無く、楽曲の素晴らしさとウィーン・フィルの美しい響きだけがここにある。とりわけアンダンテ楽章は、40番41番ともに最高だと思います。メヌエットが遅いために、全体のメリハリは不足気味ですが、速い演奏が聴きたければ別の演奏を聴けばいいでしょう。
　録音も素晴らしいですし、個人的には、先頃ようやく入手した快速テンポのインマゼール・アニマエテルナ盤と並ぶ、愛聴盤です。

クラシック、特に名曲の楽しみは、指揮者・オーケストラ・録音年等によって
変わる音の聞き比べができることでしょうか。

ここでの音は、ベーム晩年の録音だけに、決して派手さはありませんが、楽曲に忠実な指揮になっており、モーツァルトの名曲の美しさがよりはっきりとわかる演奏になっています。また、オケは、長年親しんだウィーンフィルだけに、ベームとの呼吸もバッチリで、ウィーンフィル独特の美しい響きを聴かせてくれ、ベームの指揮とも相まって美しさを増しています。

ベームの指揮同様、決して圧倒するモーツァルトではありませんが、清楚なモーツァルトが聴きたい方にお奨めできます。

出だしからして極めて遅いテンポ。それが最後まで続く。カラヤンの味気ないまでに速い演奏の口直しにと聴いたのだが、これはいくらなんでも遅すぎる。ベーム最晩年の演奏と思えばしかたないのかも知れないが。いい音で、なるべく遅いーかんで含んだようなー４０番を聴きたい人にはおすすめの一枚。個人的には同じベームでもベルリンフィルとのもの、それとワルター・コロンビア交響楽団のものの方が落ち着くが。
