メジャー1STアルバムCHRISTINA AGUILERAで少し物足りなく感じていた人もこれを聴けば彼女の声量のスケールに圧倒されること間違いなし！POPなイメージの強かったデビュー当時ですが、このアルバムをリリースしたことで彼女の評価もかなり上がりました。スペインにルーツをもつだけあってボレロ、サルサ要素の強い作品ですが初心者でも気に入るはず！中でもおすすめはマライア・キャリーの元彼ルイス・ミゲルも歌ったContigo En La Distancia!!彼女が今までにオーディエンスに向けて歌った中で最も歌唱力の活かされた出来映えです。これを聴けばライブビデオも買いたくなるはず！！

2000年の米グラミー賞で、新人賞を獲得したクリスティーナ・アギレラ。エクアドルの血を引く彼女が、スペイン語の特訓を受けてスペイン語版のアルバムを出しました。 11曲収録で、半分は英語版の初アルバムの自分の持ち歌の翻訳版。残りの曲は、スペイン語の曲目です。

例えば、Genie in a Bottleは、Genio Atrapadoとなっています。このGenio Atrapadoは、the 2000 Latin Grammy Award で、 Best Female Pop Vocal Performanceにノミネートされました。アギレラ・ファン、ポップ・ファン、ラテン・ファンなど、皆んなが楽しめるアルバム。

アルバム聞きました。お上手です。
それにしても、このジャケットの写真といい、インナーの写真といい、この方のお化粧方法を真似している高校生諸君が多く見かけるのは、５０歳のおじさんの感想でしょうか。これ直感ね。
