格闘家の故アンディ・フグとも交流の深かったスイスの国民的ロック・バンドの第6作。元々はブルージィなテイストを持つハード・ロック・バンドとして登場した彼らだが、97年発表のライヴ作『Dフロステッド』にてアコースティック・サウンドを大胆に採り入れ、スイスのロック史上でも稀に見る大成功を収めて以来、より幅広い志向のロック・バンドとして、地元はもちろんのこと、ドイツあたりでもその地位を不動のものとしている。その点では、本作も『Dフロステッド』~前作『オープン』(99年)へと受け継がれたオーセンティックな王道ロックの流れを汲んでおり、バラードからハード・チューンまで、すべての楽曲が“ゴットハード印”に仕上げられ、また、ルーツ回帰という点では、“スイスのボン・ジョヴィ”的な面も顔を出している。ちなみに、日本盤ボーナス曲は初期からのファンも納得の豪快なハード・ロック・ナンバー。3月には来日公演も決定済みだ!
