　どんな人気番組も終わる時は必ずやってくる。ミシェル・モルテーズ（ジャン・ロシュフォール）が司会をする２５年続いたクイズの人気ラジオ番組「ラ・ラング・オー・シャ」も、ラジオ局の判断で打ち切りが決定された。担当ディレクターのリヴト（ジェラール・ジュニョー）はそれをモルテーズに告げることが出来ず悩んでいる。もちろんモルテーズは、番組が早晩打ち切られるだろうことは肌で感じている。
　かつて名声を博した名司会者の落日を見事に演じきったジャン・ロシュフォールの演技は見事というほかはなく、またおやじ役者ＮＯ．１のジェラール・ジュニョーの演技も完璧で、郷愁をさそう印象的なテーマ曲は人々の心に感動の涙を呼び覚ます。ラスト・シーンが、全世界の全ての中年に安らぎを与える。必見の作品。

　数年前にビデオで見ました。その時は私の感性の乏しさかいい映画だな、美しい映画だな位にしか思えませんでした。
　先日見た時は涙が止まりませんでした。
自分に嘘をついていく事の悲しさ、それによる人との疎外感・・・
素直になれば、救われて行くことを描いた映画だと思いました。

　今の時代自分を曝け出して生きるのは難しい事ですが、何か物足りなさ、寂しさを感じているあなたに見て頂きたいです。
私は救われましたよ、新しい景色が見えました。

ラジオのクイズ番組の司会を２０年以上やってきた
おじさんタレントをジャン・ロシュフォールが見事に演じてます。
その番組の担当ディレクターがこれまたおじさん。
２人のおやじの哀愁とか切なさをしんみりと描いてます。
時にはコミカルでクスッと笑えるシーンもあります。
フランス映画では一番好きな監督、パトリス・ル・コント作なので
心にジワーっとくるやさしい感動はさすが。
印象的なテーマ曲がいつまでも心に残ります。
