多くの人たちが感じているように、このドラマでふと思い出すのが、かつての「少年ドラマ
シリーズ」だろう。特にこのドラマとは何の関連性もないのだが、ジュニア向けのＳＦ的な
雰囲気や学校での出来事等が大人たちにはどことなく懐かしく感じられるドラマなのである。

今思えばこのドラマの出演者はすごい。主演は当時１２歳だった鈴木杏を始め、ブレイク前
の栗山千明と山田孝之。他にも声が魅力的な松本まりか、教師役の村田雄浩など、ジュニ
アドラマといえども豪華な面々が顔を並べているのだ。そしてこれら少年少女たちが実に生
き生きとした演技をしているのがわかる。

ここでの主題は‘サヨコ伝説’と言われる一種の都市伝説。「３年に一度サヨコと名乗る生
徒が選ばれて３つの約束が果たす。それが成功すれば大いなる扉が開かれて、３年後にまた
新しいサヨコが現われる･･･」というもの。

その「伝説」を巡り物語は二転三転していく。途中、科学ではどうしても説明しきれないよ
うな‘自然現象’がしばしば「偶然」起きたりするのはご愛嬌だが、サヨコという謎解きを
軸としながらも、友情や信頼、優しさとは何かをこのドラマは教えてくれる。そしてこのド
ラマは大人が見ても結構面白い。

このＤＶＤは第４話までを収めたもの。ぜひ第２、３集も観てほしいと思う。あちこちでど
んでん返しが待っているのだ。

中学校時代には誰でもが憧れる冒険がそこにはぎっしりと詰まっています。
スリル、サスペンス、ＳＦ‥そしてそれらを仲間と乗り越え育まれる友情。
今の中学生の親たちが中学生だった頃に彼らを魅了した少年ドラマシリーズ。
その再来と云われているだけはある、"銘"に恥じない作品といえましょう。

少年たちが親と一緒になって胸ときめかせて見る事のできる珠玉の作品です。

最終回まで確実にハラハラドキドキワクワクが持続する極上のジュブナイル。特にこのときの鈴木杏の可愛さ、美形っぷりにはほとんど敵はない!!って感じ。(長い髪を後ろで束ねているので前髪の形が絶品☆)うら若き山田孝之の落ち着いた物言いと、幼なじみ-兄妹-男女差のない親友関係という感じのふたりの絡みが見てて心地よい。栗山千明も初々しく、謎めいて、サヨコをめぐって友情が深まってゆく過程がおもしろい。とにかく3巻まとめて買って損なし!最終回までいっきに見て、また第一話に戻って、最終回までいっきに見て・・・・・・伝説は終わらない。
