まず、最初から最後まで問題なく聴けます。
そうやって何度かリピートして聴いているうちに
自分のお気に入りの曲がわかってきます。

どれもこれも今のケツメイシでは聴けなさそうな
初々しさを感じるリリックだったりトラックだったりで
今この「ケツノポリス」を改めて聴いてみると逆に新鮮です。

個人的には、2曲目と3曲目、7曲目、9曲目、そして12曲目が
まさに“この頃のケツメイシ”といった感じでお気に入り。

そして5曲目の「力 mix」ですが
コレはただ単にふざけたインストゥルメンタルではありません。
実は日本語ラップ界の"キング・オブ・ステージ"
Rhymesterのデビューアルバム「俺に言わせりゃ」の16曲目に収録されている
「あわよくばパワー（Real Love Mix）」のトラックをほぼそのままサンプリングしています。

「ケツノポリス2」でも【Rhymesterの歌詞を覚えた、全てを歌えた】というリリックがあるように
目標としていた先輩ラッパーに対するリスペクトの気持ちが垣間見えます。
アルバムの中では1番HIP HOP色の濃いケツノポリスだと思いますよ。

このケツメイシの1st Albumのケツノポリスで、メロディアスなフックとメロディアスなラップという根幹は出来上がっている。しかし、それはまだまだ粗い様に感じられる。良く言えば本格的なラップにより近かった頃のケツメイシを聴くことが出来る。
この作品の中での私のオススメとしては、２、４、１１、１２曲目ですね。１２曲目の「夕日」が気に入った人はシングル曲の「ファミリア」に収録されている「夕日〜泣き虫先生の３年戦争mix〜」、こちらも聴いてみてはいかがでしょうか。アッパーチューンが好きな人は６曲目が気に入るかもしれません。私は、もっとメロディアス感を増した最近の曲の方が好きなので、星は４つとしました。

　ケツメイシの歌は人間味にあふれてます。涙あり、笑いあり、能天気な歌あり、深く考えさせられる歌もあって。HIPHOPの基本ともいえる「言葉」を大切にしていることも感じられるし、レゲエの楽しさも感じることができます。
　VOCALの３人の声もそれぞれ個性があって、心地よいです。

あきの来ない、味のある曲がそろっていて、聴いていると楽しいし、ノリもよく、元気を与えてくれる一枚です。
ケツメイシを知りたい人にとっては、必聴ですよ！！
