好きな子が出来た時の、本当の気持ちを知ってる？それは今流行の歌みたいな、単純でハッピーで優しいものばかりじゃない。大好きなあの子にやさしくしてあげたい、けど、独占して、やらしいことして、自分だけのものにしたい。そういうどうしようもない欲だって、好きって気持ちには含まれてる。そりゃあそれを隠して、綺麗な歌を唄えばいいよ。そのために、自分以外の人間の言葉を借りるのもアリかも。でも、嘘を吐くのは違う。綺麗な曲にのせて嘘を吐くのが、一番ダサい。だったら、情けなくてエロくて自己満ブチ撒けてても、嘘は吐いてない歌、それのが断然愛しい。

祝復活!!Theピーズの2枚組ベストアルバム、まだ聞いていなくて、どっち買おうと悩んでるなら先ずはこっちをお勧めしますっ☆なぜならこれは完結していないから。最初の一枚にぴったりだと思います♪ハルさんの、しゃべり言葉で綴られる歌詞の世界が最大の魅力やと思います。このアルバムの１４曲目の「鉄道6号」や、ラストの「ばかになったのに」は、特にお勧めですっ!!広がれ、ピーズの輪！！！

Theピーズの歌詞は痛い。つらい。それはピーズが皆（男）が心の中で思っているよういわゆる本音を歌っているからなんだろう。こんな歌詞を歌うバンドそうはいない。人生はきれいごとばっかりなんかじゃない。夢や希望だけなんじゃない。でも生きていかなきゃいけないんだ。そんなことをこのバンドから教わったような気がする。是非聞いて見てください。
