３曲目の「悲しくてやりきれない」、
８曲目の「花のかおりに」が特に
素晴らしい。

２００２年にフォークルは、再結成されたが、
この当時のメンバーである加藤和彦、北山修、端田宣彦の
３人によるユニットの時のフォークルこそが、
真のフォークルだと思う。

フォークルを語るなら、この１枚を避けて通ることは
できないだろう。

１９６９年にアポロ１１号が人類初の月面着陸に成功した頃、巷に「帰ってきた酔っ払い」が流れていた。この時代は、僕らサンフランシスコ平和条約締結後の世代にとっては、機動隊に石を投げるのはよくない、いいたいことがあるにしても暴力はいけないという時代だったから、その石や火炎瓶を投げてる世代の人たちが、こういうアルバムを出したことが不思議ですらあった。

彼らはきわめて短い時間で消えていったが、そのインパクトでどれくらいの人が、「正気に戻った」のだろうか？彼らの意図とは別に・・・

フォークルの唯一のスタジオ録音盤です。考えてみればプロとして出したライブ以外はこれだけ。１年間限定活動で走り過ぎた幻のグループ。
その後もソロで活動しているからあんまりそう思わないけど珍しいです。当時、買いたかったのですが、小遣いがなく買えなかった１枚です。借りてテープにとって聞いておりました。他のフォークグループ、フォークシンガーと一線を画していると感じたのは私だけでないと思います。ちょっと（かなり）違っていると感じていました。世の中の見方、人生観、音楽に対するアプローチ等々、懐が深いというか、その後の活動をみたら「なるほど」と思わせることが多いです（結果論ですがね）。やめようとしてその記念に出した自主制作盤があたり、もう１年活動しようと決める。そしてこのレコードが作られたのですが、じゃ１枚レコード出すかってな勢いで「このような｣ものが作れた能力の高さを改めて評価した次第。昔の思い出になるが、彼らが当時の俺達（世代）にどれほどの自信を与えてくれたか測り知れないものがある。それほど革命的な出来事でありました。ただ、自信をもらった俺達がレコードを買い、コンサートに行ったかといえば別問題で、フォークルが自信を与えた人種とファンになった人種は別だと思う。その辺が難しいとこです。
