　非常に壮大でドラマティックな曲調であるこの曲はブリグリの頂点の一つであり、本来ならチャートの一位になるべき最高傑作だった。演奏、歌詞の内容、そしてここでの川瀬智子の歌唱も完璧といえるもので、その表現力の豊かさは「There Will Be Love There」の頃から遥か彼方に飛躍している。実際この曲はオリコン10位以内に入るヒットになったが、成績は次のシングルであの下世話なポップチューン「Angel Song〜イブの鐘〜」の方が上（二位）だった。しかしその順位はこの曲にこそふさわしい位置だった。でも、もしこの曲がチャート一位になって「There Will Be〜」よりも有名になってしまっていたら、私はこの曲にここまでの愛着を抱いてなかっただろう（笑）。

　しかもこの曲とそのリリースに関するブリグリの偉いところは、このシングルと後のアルバム『LOS ANGELES』に収録されたバージョンとではミックスが違うということ。このシングルのバージョンの魅力的な点は、あまりエコーがかけられていない、非常にドライなミックスであるということ。よってアルバムバージョンとの違いは非常に大きく、こちらのバージョンはまるでその辺で川瀬が歌っているかのような生々しさは、これがタイアップを兼ねてリリースされたバージョンとはとても思えないほど荒削りな質感である。これに比べるとアルバムバージョンの方は深いエコーをかけてより完成度の高い仕上がりになっているが、私は先にアルバムの方を聴いていたので、この生々しい仕上がりには本当に驚かされたし、病み付きになってしまったくらいだ。しかしこのシングルはカップリングの「恋はキラキラ☆」がブリグリ史上ワースト3に入る駄曲で、明らかにカップリング用に書きなぐられたという感じの曲だ。ここで見せたその落差が、『LOS ANGELES』の内容の少しばかりのムラを予言するかのようでもあった。しかしこの曲の情けなさが際立つのも、一重にメインの「Hello〜」があまりに素晴らしい曲であるからであるということに尽きる。ほんとに、つくづく完璧な名曲だ。

川瀬智子のかく歌詞、詩は日本語になってないとかいわれることがある。だが、私は彼女の詩を支持したい。

彼女の詩は、特にこの曲においてそうであるように、鮮烈なイメージを伴ったものであることが多い。”やけにまぶしい夏を背に、追いかけた真昼の月”などメロディラインもいかにもそれらしく合わされていて、映像を喚起させる強い力を持っている。

また彼女は、月、闇、花などの言葉をそれらの対立物と一緒に散りばめ、詩に統一性を持たせていることも指摘できる。このような図式は他の曲でも使われていて、いわば「ブリグリ節」の構成要素となっている。

この歌でうたわれていることを読みとるのは、かなりの部分が個人に委ねられている。恋愛の歌ととることも、友情の歌と取ることも、生まれ変わ!りの歌ともとれることができる。

幾分ニヒリスティック、現世逃避的でありながら、目は内にではなくあくまで外に向いている。ただ暗い・だるい雰囲気をだしているだけの歌ではない。

好き嫌いの部分で言えばまた話は違うケド
完成度やクオリティ、手をかけてる感だったりといった次元でジャッジするならば
この楽曲を、the brilliant green最高傑作と容易に認めざるをえない。
他のナンバーがどうとかじゃなく、寧ろSingleに限って言えば
Low Qualityなモノなんてひとっつもなかったと記憶してるケド

この♪Hello Another Wayという楽曲が持つ、楽曲に溢れる
圧倒的ななにか―スケール感。悲壮感。退廃感。切なさ。そのなかに垣間見れる前向き感。直向き感。希望の匂い。
そんなドラマチック加減はがもたらすセンセーションは、「名曲」という言葉を連れてくる。

とにかくどこを切り取っても、秀逸な部位ばかり。
詞にしても、メロディにしても、演奏にしても。

ノイジーさと清潔さとを調和させたキャッチーでありながらなマニアックさは、まさに彼らの立ち位置そのもの。
ストリングスもけしてミスチル・パターンではなく涙腺にはくるケド、変なやらしさはなく、
非常に効果的に使われている印象。
またやはりトミーの詩が大好きだ。なんのコトに関して歌っているのか、その独自の魅力である“ひねくれ”とか“煙まき”は今作でも健在。
まるで共感していただくっていうコトに全くそっぽを向いてるような、彼女の面白さ。
それでいてジンワリきちゃうから不思議。
単語選びもトミーらしく、キュートでファンタジック。楽曲のある種の重たさとのコントラストが面白い。

彼らの、何をやってても確信犯だなと思える感じってすごくカッコいい。
