平井堅について、色々な事を語りたがる人達に対し、
デビュー当時から彼の歌声を知っている私はこう思う。
「この人達、デビューアルバム聴いたことあるのかなぁ？」と。
現在と比べて、確かに若さはあるけど、この伸びやかな歌声・表現力は
彼自身がずっと持ち続けていたものである。
そして、この時から今も、平井堅が音楽に対する姿勢を変えずにいる事を、とても嬉しく思う。
特に８曲目の「青空」は、とても切ないが名曲です。
私はこのアルバムを手に、大きな声でいいたい。
「グチャグチャ言ってる奴ら！何も言わずにこのアルバムを聴け！文句はその後で言え！」と。

平井堅さんの若く瑞々しい歌声が聞ける一枚である。平井堅さんの音楽に対する真摯な姿勢は昔から変わっていないのだとつくづく感じる。だからこそ、その音楽は幅広い年齢層に受け入れられるのだろう。

平井堅のデビューアルバム。当時の年齢で、これだけ深い詩を生み出せる彼はすごいと思う。曲もいいが、詩の言葉を読むだけでも読みごたえがある。若く、ピュアでストレートな歌に照れつつも、何度も聴いてしまうアルバムだ。ブックレットの、紙の風合いがやさしい。
