FRANCE GALLのアルバムでは飛び抜けて好きな一枚です。
『夢見るシャンソン人形』や、『ジャズ・ア・ゴーゴー』なんかの
超有名曲は入っては無いものの、それでも最初の一枚にお薦めできる一枚です。　まず、一曲目の出だしからすでにやられます。

４曲目の『けんかの前に』と１１曲目『メイド・イン．フランス』なんかはとてもグルーヴ感のある曲で、ドイツかどっかのDJの比較的有名なコンピなんかにも取り上げられてました。踊れます！そして元気が出ます。　さらに、７曲目の『ある男の子の恋人』なんかは、かの『デイドリームビリーバー』級に泣かす良い曲です。　あと１０曲目あたりもJAZZYでとても洒落た曲ですし、８曲目あたりはベスト盤なんかにも入ってる名曲ですね。　ゲンズブール作のモノも２曲入ってます。　こんな感じでホントに盛り沢山なアルバムです。
フランス・ギャルが気になったなら、是非手に取って欲しい一枚です。

France Gallの60年代に名盤数あれど、イエ・イエにJazzに、このアルバムではソフト・サイケまで加わって、音のバラエティーで言えば、60年代の Gallで1番じゃないかな。Gallのロリ声を聴きながら、軽い白昼夢。現実に戻ってこれなくなりそうだわ。フレンチ・サイケ風(あんのかそんなの)なジャケも最高。

爽やかで甘みがあるけれど、甘すぎないところが好きです。
フレンチポップというと、歌の上手い下手は別として、ささやくように歌う女性歌手がもてはやされる中で、フランス･ギャルは、かわいい声でなおかつ音程がしっかりしてます。（昔、ゲンズブールも彼女の歌は「機械のように正確」と称賛してました）温かみがあって人を惹き付ける歌声です。
個人的には、最後に収録されているデュエットが、聞いててウキウキしますし、かわいらしいと思います。おしゃれで、歌詞は女の子におすすめ。
