ただ勢いがあるだけじゃなくて、楽曲的にも優れたものが多かったことが実感できますね。
なんていうか、アイドル系とか、若い人向けに流行の中心があるのは、今と変わらないんだけれども、この頃はまだ、全体にうまいことバランスがとれていたような気がします。

『青春歌年鑑』シリーズの中でも、この81年版はバランスがよく、聴きごたえもあって、おすすめのセットといえるでしょう。

なお、まったく個人的な気持ちとしては、おしまいにボーナス・トラックとして中島みゆきの「世情」（78年の作品ですが）、そして海援隊「人として」、の２曲を追加したい……、という感じ、であります（※この『歌年鑑』81年版のラストを飾る沖田ヒロくん〔故人。合掌…〕が松浦を演じていた『金八』第２シリーズ「卒業式前の暴力　２」は、この年の３月20日オンエア。そういえば『青春歌年鑑』シリーズには、「贈る言葉」が入ってないんだな……）。

「歌に当時の自分を思い浮かべる」というのは
たくさんある。
それは自分の好んだ音楽を中心にして
特定のアーティストのアルバムや曲に
対しての意向が強く出てた私だったのですが､
あまり興味も無かった曲やはっきりいって嫌いな曲
にそう思わされたのはこのＣＤを購入する前に
ラジオから流れた「ブルージンズ・メモリー」。

マッチ嫌いだった私は以外にもイントロが始まるや否や
歌詞の殆どを覚えてました。

「青春歌年鑑」の存在を知り
年代別のメニューをみるとあるわあるわ
好きなのだの嫌いなのだの
それも当時の諸番組で流れてたような順番で
オリジナル盤で・・・
1981年あちこちで聞かされた歌がそのまんま
好きも嫌いもなくＣＤの中にいる当時の

自分が「忘れていた歌詞」を
歌いだす。あれ？オレこんな歌覚えてたんだ・・

ナメネコ、ルービックキューブ、ポートピア81・・・と
日本がまだまだ明るかった時代。

「ポップス」というのは、本当にその時代を反映するもの
だな・・・と、感じてしまいます。

オススメは、イモ欽の「ハイスクール・ララバイ」。
