王様の新作はキッスねた。キッスのサウンド・スタイルをイメージした楽曲に王様のオリジナル歌詞をのせた3曲と本家の翻訳カヴァー・メドレーという変則的な構成で挑んでおり、全編にあふれる気持ちよさそうなギター弾きまくりには王様自身の“キッス愛”がよく表われていると思う。だがしかし、オリジナル曲がただのナンセンスなギャグ・ソング化しているのは残念。それもおやじギャグ気味な自己完結を感じさせるのが少々悲しい。やはりカヴァー翻訳モノのほうが自由にトんでいる。“さなだーっさなだーっ”だものな……。 (平野和祥) --- 2001年01月号

これは、今までの王様の直訳ロックの中でもベストの
内容ではないでしょうか。KISSの曲の雰囲気を壊すことなく
王様の直訳の詞が生きていて素晴らしいです。

KISS風の王様オリジナル曲も雰囲気が良く出ていて王様の
スゴさをあらためて感じてしまいました。

なにより、Rock 'n Roll All Niteをドンチャン騒ぎ夜通し
と訳してしまう王様のセンスに脱帽です。
