注目すべきはその選曲。「JAM」「SPARK」「楽園」とシングルヒットの続いた1996年、日本のロック界を代表するバンドに成長した彼らが、ビッグネームゆえの迷いや痛みに悩むとき、自らの出発点を確認する作業がどうしても必要だったのでしょう。鋭いまなざしをしたメンバーの表情からは「リスナーやマスコミのためだけでなく、何よりも自分たちのために」という、痛いほど純粋な思いが伝わってきます。特に吉井和哉が真っ白なシャツに着替えて登場するアンコールは、派手な演出もメイクも衣装もないぶん、初期ナンバーの美しいメロディがはっきりと胸に迫ってきて感動的。ほんとうにやりたいことをやってるんだよなぁ、かっこいいよなぁ……と素直に納得できるライブビデオです。

昔からファンだった人には懐かしい、おなじみ、最近ファンになった人には新鮮、新たなる発見。私は初期の頃の曲が好きなので、このセットリストは感動モノ！あの、あの「MORALITY SLAVE」がオープニングですぞ！衝撃度１００％！！私は特に「LOVERS ON BACKSTREET」が嬉しかった☆☆それからメカラウロコ楽団（オーケストラ）との「真珠色の革命時代」「This Is For You」には涙。。。ロビンは指揮者になったり、オーケストラの一員になったり、エマちゃんと仮面ライダーごっこをしたり・・・普段見られない動きをいろいろしているので、それも注目♪

このライブ映像は一番好きですね。メンバーのパフォーマンスはもちろん、なんと言っても吉井さんの声が凄く良い!伸びがあるというか聴いてて気持ち良い。ただ曲がマニアックなので初めて買うのにはオススメできないかな。でも、いつか見てほしいライブです。曲がカットされてても満足なので全曲収録だったらぶっ倒れるでしょう(笑)。吉井さん自身も言っていましたが伝説のライブです!このライブだけは完全版が出ても良いんじゃないでしょうか?
