いい湯だな(ビバノン・ロック)、ミヨちゃん、ドリフのズンドコ節、ほんとにほんとにご苦労さん、誰かさんと誰かさんなどなど、ドリフのヒット曲は多いですが、当時、シングルレコードのＢ面にリリースされていた…カトちゃんの歌う「♪ズッコケちゃん 」は名曲です！当時私は、幼稚園児でしたが、そのレコードの写真の面白さといい、曲といい、強烈な印象があります。まだ、志村けんさんではなく、荒井　注さんがメンバーの頃で、土曜日の８時が毎週たまらなく楽しみでした。このアルバム、カトちゃんの歌う「♪ズッコケちゃん 」は名曲です！

Disc2はDisc1とはだいぶ雰囲気が変わって軍歌がメインだ。
ドリフが歌う軍歌は親しみがわいてくる。月月火水木金金は朝起きたら真っ先に聞きたい曲だ。元気で明るい気分にさせてくれる。加藤隼戦闘隊を歌うのは？？？もちろんアノ人です。
ラバウル小唄は、このアルバムで最高の曲だ。力強さと、ノスタルジーのバランスが絶妙だ。

すべての曲にドリフらしさがあふれているのが最大の魅力だと思う。とにかくパァーっとしたい時や、何も考えずリラックスしたい時はこのドリフの作品が手助けしてくれると思う。

ベスト盤の赤盤、青盤は、同じＥＭＩのビートルズのパロディでしょう。ＣＤ化に際して、マスタリングを丁寧に行ったらしく、音質は鮮明で、サラウンドにすると、加藤隼戦闘隊の冒頭で、いかりやと加藤のコントの後、飛行機の離陸音が右から左へ移動する時、頭上を飛んで行く！２４ページのブックレットには、ＬＰ３枚の表と裏のデザインが小さいながら見る事ができる。最後のページにはディスコグラフィも載っており、、惜しむらくは、録音データなどの情報を載せて欲しかった。さて、問題は、収録時間である。ＣＤ２枚組なので、現在の容量なら、ＣＤ１枚に８０分まで収録できるのだが、Disc１は４１分４２秒、Disc２は何と３７分４１秒しかないのだ。合計しても８０分に満たないのである。ここもビートルズの赤盤と共通するメーカーの陰謀である。しかも、解説で触れているが、Disc２の７曲目と１４曲目は、曲間のコントを何故かカットしている。つまり、ＣＤ２枚にしておいて、曲を編集しわざわざ短くしているのだ。ユーザーとしては、納得いかない。せめてブックレットを厚くして、ジャケット写真や中の写真を大きくしてカラーで印刷して欲しい。驚いたのは、殆どの有名曲の作詞が、なかにし礼さんなのだ。正直言って見直してしまいました。クレージー・キャッツの曲の作詞の多くが青島幸夫であるように、ドリフの歌には、なかにし礼という強力なメンバーが居た事を初めて知りました。ＬＰは３枚出されており、シングル曲を合わせても青盤とともにコンプリート盤が出来たはずなのに、もしかしたら、ビートルズのように、未発表曲や別テイクなども収録可能だったはず。プロデューサーさん、しっかりしてよ！まだまだ書きたい事がありますが、商品としての一番の弱点は、収録時間がＣＤ２枚にする必要が無いという事につきる。これは、青盤でも同じなので、そちらにも収録時間のデータを載せておきます。ファンだからこそ、コンプリートにして欲しいのだ。楽しい曲がまだまだあるのに、出し惜しみはいけませんね。東芝ＥＭＩさん、根性入れてよ。
