世にさまざまなカヴァ-ソングがあるが、僕にとってこの一枚はKEIKO LEEとならぶエヴァ-グリーンなアルバムになった。

曲のセレクトも完璧なんだけど、彼女のボーカル！洋楽でいえばスウィングアウトシスターのコリーンみたいなもんか、つまりシャウトでも声量を誇示するでもなくあくまでもナチュラルな歌い方。そしてその力強い美貌からただようセクシャルティに魅了されるんだよね。オリジナルの曲にも負けないくらいの名曲多し！「君のために」がイーグルスとかスティービーと並んでててもそん色なく感じられるんだよね。日本人のメンタルティつまり琴線に触れるメロディラインと声なんじゃないかな？

旅行へ行った時に入ったお店で流れているのを聴いてすごく気に入ったので、
お店のオーナーにアルバム名などを教えてもらい即買いした1枚です(^-^)
夜、車の中・お風呂・ベッドetcでよく聴いています♪
とっても穏やかな気持ちになれ、私を癒してくれるオススメの1枚です☆

眠れない夜、寝室でボリュームを抑えめにして聴きたい。夜のドライブにも最適のＣＤだ。

ＦＭ番組のリスナーが投票で選んだ洋楽のバラードを、ＳＡＫＵＲＡが歌ったカバーアルバム。
どの曲も音楽史に名を残すような美しいバラードだけに、はっきり言って捨て曲がない。
それを、伸び伸びとした歌声でさらりと歌いきった彼女の表現力が素晴らしい。
「RIBBON IN THE SKY」の美しいピアノなど、曲自体のアレンジも聴かせる。

五島良子の洋楽カバーアルバム「NOW AND FOREVER #2」と並ぶ「眠れない夜に聴くクスリ」である。
