   とにかくカッコいい。「池袋ウエストゲートパーク」は、ハイテンションな傑作ドラマである。
   まずタイトルのネーミングも含め、舞台に池袋を選んだ石田衣良による原作のセンスがいい。そこに『GO』の脚本でも注目を集めた宮藤官九郎、「ケイゾク」で斬新な演出をみせた堤幸彦のセンスが加わり、コミカルで奥行きのある世界が構築されている。そこに長瀬智也、窪塚洋介をはじめ、名前をあげたらきりがないほどの豪華キャスト陣が、それぞれ強烈なキャラクターを演じ、違和感なくとけ込んでいるのも見事だ。
   物語はギャングの抗争、少女の殺人などを背景に、今どきの若者の現実をポップに描いている。が、その奥に彼らが持つ深い孤独感をじわーっと臭わせていて、単にテンションが高いだけのドラマに終わってはいない。また、不良だけにスポットを当てるのではなく、オタク、ヒキコモリといった少年たちが同じ土俵で活躍する展開も、どこか浪花節的なものを感じさせ、それが実にキモチいい。（井上新八）

浜口が好きです．いい味だしてます．
阿部サダヲはクドカンドラマには全部でてるんでしたっけ？全部ではないのか･･･
全部でてる印象があるんですが
とりあえず阿部サダヲ演じる浜口がいいです!

他のキャストも豪華な人ばかり･･･というかこのドラマで売れた人が多いようですね．
数字はあんまりよくなかったので最終回の内容が少々詰め込み気味ですが，レンタルの回転率は未だにすごい!!
これは見た人のほとんどがハマり，口コミで人気が広がったからではないでしょうか？

なにが面白いかと言われても，喫茶店とかだったら語れますが，文面だとどうも伝えにくい．
とにかく見てもらうしかない．
とりあえず，話のテンポ・脚本のセンス・視聴者をこのドラマの世界に引き込む力がすごいです．

一見の価値は絶対にあります．

ちなみに僕は最終回で泣きました．
このセリフで→ちっちぇえ時からおんなじパン食ってたタカシじゃねえのかよ!!!

石田衣良氏が描く男たちはみんな魅力的だが、その中でも群を抜いて輝いているのがマコトとタカシ。原作をこえる映像作品は稀だが、これは紛れもなくそんな作品の一つ。マコトを演じる長瀬智也とタカシを演じる窪塚洋介の今にも爆発しそうなエネルギー、役者としてのキレ、きらめく個性が、「マコトとタカシは現実にブクロで生きている」とドラマを見ている者に信じさせてしまいそうな錯覚与える。原作、脚本、演出どれも最高だが、活字を超え、ドラマの枠を超え、登場人物に息吹を与えられる若い俳優に出会えたのは至福である。長瀬と窪塚が20代後半になってしまい、彼らのコンビでGボーイズ冬戦争が見られないのが残念である。池袋の再開発でIWGPのブクロは消えつつあるが、マコトとタカシは永遠である。

今まで冗談抜きで１話につき１００回以上見たと思います！大好きすぎて録画してあったビデオが擦り切れてしまってＤＶＤを買いました☆まことのボケ具合が最高におもしろいです。それに、今の良い男ランキングに名を連ねている人たちがいっぱい出ていて、良い男尽くしのドラマです！私の中では歴代１位のドラマです。
