初見はそれこそ20年程前ですね。先日「ザ・ホワイトハウス4」を見ておりましたら、この映画の主演2人[J・ブローリン（大統領候補）とH・ホルブルック（共和党議員）]が同じエピソードで出ており、懐かしくなって再見しました。さすがP・ハイアムズ　チェイスシーンが小気味いいですね（個人的に同監督のNo.1チェイスは「夢見て走れ」ですが・・・要DVD化）やはり面白いですね。もちろん今現在の映画とは比べ物にならないほどちゃちかもしれませんがとにかく脚本が良く出来ています、30年近くも前の映画が今もこうして生き残っていると言う事がこの映画の（この映画のみならず）評価であり、認識だと思います。今大騒ぎしている映画がこの先20・30年と記憶に残っているでしょうか？映画の評価とは私見ですが、20年後辺りに「この映画封切りで映画館で見たんだよね」と自慢出来るかどうかだと思います。実際この映画を映画館で観れなかったのは悔しいです。

1回観て終わっちゃう作品がある中、
年に数回は見たくなる映画です。
レビュータイトル通り全て最高ですが、
何よりラスト、スローモーションの二人の
表情がいいです。
特に後ろを走るエリオット・グールドが好きです。

　アメリカが、セットによる火星有人飛行【カプリコン１計画】をでっちあげる。ところが、全世界に向けた放送中にシャトルが炎上。搭乗した人間は皆、死んだことにされてしまう。身の危険を感じた乗組員は、施設を脱出するが・・。
　

　誰にも頼れない乗組員。そして、国から抹殺指令を受けた追っ手たち。安住の地がない過酷な逃避行に、ぐんぐん引き込まれて行く。「こんなことあるわけない！」のかもしれないけど、もしかして、というリアルさがある。逃げられるのか、駄目なのか。無駄のない演出に、終始はらはらドキドキ。真相を知ろうと絡んでくる新聞記者が、凄く利いている。

　複葉機とヘリのチェイスなど、手に汗握る見所もたっぷり。ただ派手なシーン入れとこうじゃなく、気持ちをしっかり!とのせてくれるのが凄い。単なる娯楽で終わらないラストシーンは、あまりにも印象的。絶対に楽しめるおすすめ作品。
