テレビ番組の「つんくタウン」から誕生した映画と言う事で、最初は見る気もおきませんでした。新藤兼人の孫と聞いて、ますます見る気が起きませんでした。しかしレンタルビデオ屋の旧作１００円キャンペーンで借りて来て見てびっくり。才気がきらきら光る作品でした。翌日、すぐにDVDを購入しました。映画の放つセンスの良さに圧倒されっぱなしでした。これが、初監督作品とは信じられません。次回作がとても待ちどうしい女性監督のうれしい発見でした。

久しぶりに邦画観たんですが…。
ホント映画観てこんな切ない気分になったのは久々です。
焦りました…。
観終わってすぐに友だち呼んで観直したもん、笑
まさに必見です！
金魚がまいい味出してるんですよね~。
なんかまた観たくなってきた…。

多くの邦画の問題点のひとつに「典型的なキャラ造形」があげられると思う。具体例をあげるとすれば、この映画を俎板にのせてもいいだろう。
女性の同性愛者に男役っぽいのと女役っぽいのがいる。やがて男のことでもめてケンカするだろう、とか、そういった類の典型的な事例の積み重ね。

結局、意外性の殻を抜け出ることができていない。同性愛映画というつかみの部分などもある意味シナセン的な構成。おそらくは同性愛というものはこういうふうに生じて、育って、そして別れるといった展開がすべて予想の範囲内におとなしくおさまっていることが、そもそもまずいのだと思う。

面と向かっては告白できないが、それっ気があるかもしれない相手をおとすのに一緒にビデオを見るためのものとしたら案外いいツールになるかもしれない。しかし内容はマルホランドドライブや１７歳のカルテの足元にも及ばないし、期待しているような映像は大して出てこないことも付け加えておく。
