かなりの人気が出たスターオーシャンセカンドストーリーのサントラです。
しかもこのサントラはいい曲を選び、それらをアレンジしてあります。
なので、遊んだことのある人はもちろん、そうでない人も十分感動できるサントラに仕上がってます。買って得したと思える作品です。

結論から言うと、

原曲重視の方・・・お勧めできない
原曲破壊に寛容・・非常にお勧め

です。原曲とはかなりかけ離れた曲に仕上がっていますが、
私個人としては非常に気に入っている一枚です。
今のところ、桜庭氏本人以外がアレンジをしたものはこれだけですので、
興味が御ありでしたら是非。

このアレンジャーのオーケストラへのギターの付け方はかなりあわない気がします。ちょっとしたことなのですが、あれ、あれ？と、かなり疑問に思ったのが第一印象です。
　一部良い曲もありましたが、原曲とアレンジャーのテイストを融合、消化し切れてない、というのが感想でした。
