98年に北九州市で結成。ヴォーカルも含め全て一発録りしたこのCDが初のアルバムである。ベースがリード楽器のように目立っており、ドラムがどっしり居座り、そこへ電子音がちりばめられる感じ。デジ・ロックやミクスチャー・ロック的なリズムも取り込み、パンク・ロックみたいな勢いがあるかと思えば、ビートルズや90年代のいわゆるUKロックみたいなメロディも聴こえてくる。ぼくにはテクスチャーがわかりやすすぎるし、ヴォーカルがわざとらしいと思えてしまうが、POLYSICSが好きな人なら気に入るかも。 (行川和彦) --- 2000年11月号
