2000年1月にWOWOWでアニメの放送が終了した後、独立した作品として作られたエピソード。ビッグ・オーが失踪した所から話が始まるので、巨大ロボがCDでも大暴れ！　と云う様なことは全くなく、飽く迄登場人物達の会話によって話が進められる密室劇である。

ストーリーは、或る夜偶々ロジャーの家に集まった主要登場人物達が、各々のメモリーに関する不安を吐露すると云うもの。ちょっぴり毒気の利いた小洒落た会話が心地良い。但し、アニメ本編の終り方と同じく、終盤が結局どう云う話だったのかは些か判断し辛い。
副題の‘Walking Together on the Yellow Brick Road’の意味は……まあ聴いて確かめてみて下さい。

シリーズ構成を担当した小中氏の提案により、ロジャーの部屋を小劇場に見立て、登場人物を演じる人達には、声優ではなく舞台俳優として演技して貰っている。その為通常のCD用に収録されたドラマを期待している人にとってはかなり目新しく感じられるかも知れない。演じる方にとっても、これは楽しい経験だった様だ。

因みに、小中氏のHPでは幾つかのアニメ本編のエピソードと合わせてこの脚本が公開されている。これと合わせて聴いてみると、より一層興趣が増すかもしれない。

他に、サントラで取り零した曲をおまけとして収録している。
