このCDでは、60年、70年代の若いビーチボーイズから成長し、大人になったビーチボーイズを感じとれます。もちろん、サーフィンものも聞けます。私は今のビーチボーイズを一番感じ取れるCDだと思います。初っ端の「ゲッチャ・バック」は、ハワイのワイキキを思い出させてくれます（25周年記念のビデオでも聞けます）。そしてアルがリードをとる「カルフォルニア・コーリング」はビーチボーイズの雰囲気が一杯です。難しい時を乗り切ったビーチボーイズのCDとなっていまいす。

シンセサイザーをうまく使いヒットを出すことに成功。バンドも息を吹き返したすばらしいアルバム。一緒に歌える部分がすばらしい。
