7月よりWOWOWで放送中のアニメ『STRANGE#DAWN』のサントラ盤。『金田一少年の事件簿』などでお馴染みの和田薫が音楽を担当し、スケール大きいオーケストラ・サウンドを展開。

最近、アニメのサントラを聴くたびに、ホントに日本のアニメの音楽はレベルが高いと思う。クラシック出身の和田薫の音楽はスケールが大きく、並みのドラマや日本映画の音楽を凌駕している。民族音楽風もあれば交響曲もあり、あの伊福部昭の弟子ということもあって、なかにはキングコングが目覚めてしまったり、ゴジラが進撃してしまいそうな曲もある。なかでも河井英里の澄んだ声をフィーチャーした曲が心に染み入る。河井英里の声はヴォーカル曲もいいが、コーラス曲の方が表情のある声を堪能できる。 (竹之内円) --- 2000年09月号

　なにがいいってまずこのアニメ
のオープニング曲がいい。
河井さんの歌声のうまさと、
曲自体が持つ雄大さがとても心地よい。
最初アニメで聞いた時はこれは素晴らしいと感じた。
また、各場面に流れる曲もなかなかどうしていいもの
が揃っている。ぜひ買って聞いてみて下さい。

オープニングテーマの
「空へ」はとても綺麗な歌声と、壮大な感じのする曲調とが心地よい
作品です。
　初めてこれを聞いた時は寒気がしてしまいました。
とても綺麗な曲です。
是非聞いてみて下さい

「空へ」はその透き通った声と
雄大さすら感じる曲調がとても
心地よく響きます。
　それにオープニング目当てでシングルで買うよりもこれで買った方が得。
