私は普段映画を見ない、見たとしても音楽メインで見ることが多い！！それも映画館では見ずにビデオやDVDで見ることの方が圧倒的に多い、この映画も中学生の頃上映され、タイトル曲がリバイバルヒットしたのをきっかけに購入　暫くの間はヘビィーローテーションで聴いていました、このアルバムを聞き込むうちにオヤジがオールディーズベスト２００みたいなBOXセットを買って来てオールディーズを聞き出すきっかけになり現在に至る　映画も後に見て更に感動！！大袈裟ですが私の少年時代を思い出させる内容で実際に友達数人で秘密基地を作ったりテントも何もなく缶詰を持ち寄り焚き火をしながら一泊のキャンプをして遊んだ頃の思い出が音楽と供に思い起こさせてくれます。　STAND　BY　MEは今でもフェイバレットで２０曲以上のカバーソングを集めています、しかしオリジナル以上の感動は味わえません

この選曲は素晴らしいの一言に尽きる。映画で使われた曲を端から端まで集めたりはせずにつまんだ感じでアルバムを構成させているのがまた憎い。
1〜10まで捨て曲なし。どの曲もあの映画の時代を感じるにはピッタリな名曲。誰もが経験したことのある少年時代を取り扱った映画なだけに思いいれも強くなる。
映画に登場してくる少年達くらいの歳だった私が、自分のお金で初めてCDというものを購入したのもこのサントラ。
全ての曲が口ずさめるだけでクールで、少年時代に一気に戻れる数少ない名盤。

映画にしみじみきてサントラも購入したのですが、古き良きアメリカが好きな私には嬉しい一枚です。古き良きっていつ頃だいって？はい５０~６０年代じゃないでしょうか。ノスタルジックなアメリカンポップスにほのぼのします。１０曲全て最高です！はずれなんてありません。スタンドバイミーは胸の奥にキューンとくるものがあります。１曲目でなくて最後１０曲目にもってきてるところが私好みでした。
