これは正直お薦めしません。フラワー・トラベリン・バンドは「サトリ」と「メイク・アップ」の２枚にしておきましょう。それ以外は出来がよくありません。当時は話題先行ばかりでほんまにまともなバンドになるんか心配でしたから。まあいろいろといい音楽だけをやらせてもらえる環境でもなかったのだと思うので、食うためにはレコードを出さねばならない事情も分かりますが、今となってはこれは資料の一部ですね。今は僕は聞きません。

『Kamikaze』や『Hiroshima』、『That's All』などの名曲もあるものの、曲に出来不出来があり、散漫な印象を受ける。
ブラックサバスなどから影響を受けたドゥーミーなヘヴィロックに、日本的な感性が持ちこまれてる点は、現代でもオリジナリティを感じられるが、
前作『SATORI』で観られたドロドロとした感覚が薄れているのが残念に思う。

ジャケットやライナーで、これでもかと海外進出をアピールしてるあたりも今となるとなんだか気恥ずかしい。
曲調に変化があったのも海外進出に向けての戦略だったのだろうか？

洋楽びいきの私はこのアルバムを聴いて価値観がふっとんだ記憶があります。しかもやってることが斬新で震えました。 特に収録曲のKAMIKAZEは世界的にみても全ての要素において近代ヘヴィ・メタルの開祖的名曲です。 それは英国製や米国製ではありません。世界に挑戦できる良質な日本製です。
