わずか19歳で夭折した志賀真理子が唯一残したアルバム"mariko"
再販に当たって、シングルバージョンの"青い涙"と、彼女が主演・主題歌を担当したアニメ作品のOP,EDを追加したアルバムである。
アニメで花の魔法使いを演じた本人がまさに花のごとく散ってしまっただけでなく、その誰よりも哀に満ちた歌声で、まさに"哀切胸を打つ"一枚に仕上がっている。

　当初発売版のmarikoは持っていたのですが、こちらをなかなか入手できず、ヤフオクでなんとか買い求めました。

　あらためて聞き返してみると、「夏よりも遠くまで好き」と「青い涙」が、単なる歌詞差し替えではなく、アレンジも一部変更していたことに今頃気づきました。「ひこうき雲」も、シングル版と収録が異なるらしいですね。

　アルバムの構成としては、ＬＰ時代のＡＢ面裏返しを意識した感じで、Ａ面では「GirlFriend」、Ｂ面では「避暑地の約束」が聴きどころです。「GirlFriend」は、女の子が女の子に恋するという歌詞を不思議に思う人がいるようですが、この情感こもった歌い方を聴けば、彼女の気持ちも理解できるはずです。

　追加収録された曲のうち、パステルユーミ関係は、なぜ「青空パステル・キャンバス」が漏れてしまっているんでしょう？　シングルも、ラストになってしまった「RainyDayHello」とそのＢ面を入れて、志賀真理子さんのワーナー発売分はコンプリート版で欲しいものです。可能であれば、ビクター発売の２曲も。。。

志賀真理子さん、素敵な歌声をありがとう。

私がフリージアの少年(志賀真理子)に出会ったのが四歳の時。私は幼いながらもこの曲は"なんて素晴らしい歌(曲)なんだろう"と感動し、今日に至るまで忘れる事がなかったです。そして私はアマチュアミュージシャンになり、本格的に志賀真理子さんのヴォーカルを聴いてみて、"なんて繊細な感情を歌い現わせられるのだろう"と思い、私は彼女の死を残念に思います。そして、これからの後進の為、日本の音楽界に美しい音楽を残す為にも、このアルバムを再発して下さい。
