このＣＤと出合ったのは僕が小学校６年生の時でした。ちょうどその頃マッキーの「Ｈｕｎｇｒｙ　Ｓｐｉｄｅｒ」が発表されました。当時音楽には全くもって関心が無かったのですが、この曲いいなぁ、と思ったので音楽好きの兄にレンタルしてもらうことにしました。そしたら兄が頼んだＣＤ以外のＣＤも借りてきました。それがこのアルバムです。

僕は生まれて初めて音楽で鳥肌が立ちました。そして音楽とマッキーの虜になってしまいました。翌年にＭＤプレイヤーを買い、マッキーのＣＤを借りあさりました。
今も何年後も、人生を変えたＣＤは？と聞かれたら間違いなくこのＣＤの事をいます。間違いなく２０世紀の名盤です。

私にとっての癒し曲「ミルク」「遠く遠く」が入ってると言う事で、こりゃあ購入すべきでしょうと思いました。

後で考えてみると、昔自作で編集したテープの内容と似たような構成だったんですよね。買った意味ないって一瞬思ったかも（笑）

槙原の癒し系ＳＯＮＧはとても心に染み入るのですが、今から思えば、あのヒトは当時から色々な事で葛藤していて、自分自身に言い聞かせながら歌っていたのかもしれませんね。

マッキーにハマるきっかけになったのがこのベスト版でした。
それまで「どんなときも。」等一部の曲くらいしか知りませんでしたが、
現実感がたっぷりの詩と心地よいリズムの虜になってしまいました。

発売されて10年が経っても色あせない曲たち。
まだマッキーデビュー(?)してない方は是非聴いてみて下さい。
