   1981~89年にかけてのライヴ音源を選りすぐった89年発表の作品。スタジオ・ワークにおいて抜きん出たセンスの持ち主であることはすでに証明済みであったが、こちらを聴いていただくと、ショー・マンとしても彼、山下達郎がいかに秀でた存在であるかがよくわかる。当日の演奏や会場とのグルーヴで生まれる、一回こっきりの偶然を、完全に読み切っていたかのような彼の天才ぶりには、ただ、ただ息を呑むばかり。また80年代の音源ということであるが、まったく古さを感じることがない点についても驚かされる。（春野丸緒）

達郎氏の素晴らしい歌声、バックメンバーの見事な演奏、そして観客の手拍子が三位一体となっていて、鳥肌が立つほどの素晴らしさ！
最初の「Last Step」から達郎氏は度肝を抜いてくれます。次々と続く怒濤のようなライブパフォーマンスはどんな人をも酔わせること必至。
買って後悔のない１枚です♪
ライブに行ったことのある人はその記憶が鮮明に蘇るでしょうし、行ったことのない人はきっと行きたくなります。

最近また「Forever Mine」等で新しいファン層を獲得しているであろうことは、いちファンとして大変喜ばしい今日この頃。数ある達郎氏のアルバムの中でもこのライブ盤は特別な１枚として頻繁にプレイヤーに乗ります。
歓声の中、テンポ良く始まる「ラストステップ」が挨拶代わり。いきなり「Sparkle」で聴き手もテンションがあがります。「Rainy Day」「蒼氓」と聴かせる曲に１枚目はまったりさせられます。
２枚目のイントロ~「ふたり」の流れは鳥肌モノ。ハイライトの多いライブ盤ですがビーチボーイズの「神のみぞ知る」こそ個人的に１番の聴き所かもしれません。名曲「Let's Dance Baby」からラストに向かって走り始めます。大盛り上がりのシュガーベイブ時代の「Down Town」がとっても嬉しい（笑）。ヒット曲「Ride On Time」で熱気は最高潮に。最後「おやすみロージー」が終わってからもしばらく余韻に浸る、そんな見事なライブ盤です。
この盤は達郎氏が１曲１曲を大事に大事に歌っている印象を受けます。
古さを感じさせない稀な作品のひとつです。老若男女問わず日本語を話すみんなにオススメできます。

山下達郎のアルバムを買った事が無い人にも是非聴いてみてほしい。
圧倒的なパフォーマンス。80年代にこんなライブが日本に存在していたことを知ると、うれしかったり、行けてなくて悔しかったり、感動したり、嫌になっちゃったり。

初めて山下達郎のアルバムを買ってみようかなという方。もちろんスタジオレコーディングのアルバムもすばらしいけど、このアルバムから入るというのも一つの手かもしれません。ライブアルバム故のテンションの高さはもちろん、ライブアルバムとは思えない徹底的な作りこみにはただ圧倒されるのみです。聴いたが最後、抜け出せなっちゃいます。購入して絶対に後悔しないアルバムと思います。
