アナログ版、CD版でかなり聞いた好きなアルバムだったのでリマスター版が91年にでても改めて買おうという気にはなかなかなれませんでした。
しかし、今回購入してみてやっぱしぜんぜん違いましたっ！。POCKET MUSICでのフリューゲルホルンの響きが・・・改めて素晴らしいと思いました。
好きだった人はもう一度買って損はありません。また、このアルバムに惚れ直すと思います。
ボーナストラックの 「My Baby Queen」も「何でこんないい曲をお蔵入りさせてたの？どーしてっ？」と言いたくなる内容でした。今更なんですが・・・。

山下氏の最もプライベートっぽいアルバム。Ride On TimeにはじまりFUNKY FLUSHIN'、LOVELAND,ISLAND等の「夏」＝達郎のイメージを払拭したい思いで出来たアルバム。また個人レーベル立ち上げ第一弾でもある。

雨の曲が多いというわけではないが、どの曲も優しく温かく潤んでいる。かなりの部分を打ち込みで（宅録で）作ったと本人は言っていたが、その感触が全然ない。以前の作品よりも人肌っぽいものさえ感じさせる。

以前ラジオで氏が、ライブで立ちががって欲しくない、座ってじっくり自分の演奏を聴いて欲しいということを言っていたが、このアルバムはまさに座ってじっくり彼の優しさに浸って欲しいアルバムだ。オススメは、思わず楽しくなってしまう＃１、しっとり落ち着ける＃２と＃７。

達郎さん自身も気に入った楽曲を集めたという力作。
80年代半ばに出た今の作品群に繋がる重要なｱﾙﾊﾞﾑでもある。
ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑﾀｲﾄﾙもｳｫｰｸﾏﾝ世代にとってはとてもｼﾝﾊﾟｼｰの湧くものだった。
各曲の出来の良さもさることながら、音の隅々まで行き届いている
拘りが感じられ、音のｱﾙﾁｻﾞﾝ達郎の面目躍如。
彼の名盤は他にも目白押しだが、ﾌﾟﾗｲｳﾞｪｰﾄﾐｭｰｼﾞｯｸの集大成のような
本作は発売後もう20年近く経った今でも色褪せることなく輝いている。
きっと次の20年も聴き続けていくことになるだろう。
