K27(全音楽譜90のソナタ第１巻)を演奏したくて参考のために購入しました。
スカルラッティはピアノでしか聞いたことがなかったのですが、チェンバロはそれよりも少し寂しげな独特の音色に感じました。
ＣＤはとてもクリアな音です。ややけたたましさもありますが、いかにもバロック音楽という雰囲気が味わえる1枚です。チェンバロを演奏してみたくなります。

~アメリカ生まれながら、学問的造詣に裏打ちされたバロック音楽の演奏・解釈の第一人者となったスコット・ロスのスカルラッティは音楽の自由な息吹を感じさせる好演である。
オルガン奏者として出発したことが、多彩な変化をみせる音色に現れている。
様式感のしっかりした、それでいて学究一辺倒でない、楽しい音楽にあふれている。
スカルラッティはピア~~ニストによる演奏を聴く機会も多いが、ロスの十八番といってよく、その芸術を知るきっかけとして特にお薦めできる。~

チェンバロを使った、とてもクリアな録音です。

チェンバロといいますと、聴くときには
静かに音楽を流して、コーヒーでも飲んで、というイメージなのですが、
この録音はあまりにクリア過ぎて、「ながら聴き」を許してくれません。
それで☆ひとつマイナスなんです。

４曲目には、あのＤＶＤ「アート・オブ・ピアノ」で
ミケランジェリが弾いているL449が出てきます。
ゆっくりしたテンポのチェンバロで聴くのも良いものです。

それにしても録音が良すぎる、というのも考えものですね。
ボリュームを絞っても、ちょっと五月蝿い感じ。
