3.0 out of 5 stars 名盤が廉価価格で登場, 2003/1/6
９１年の没後２００年を目標に進められていた全集からの１枚。
９１年当時は来日公演がテレビでも放映されたが、
このオケはとにかく人数が少ない。
当然古楽器による演奏のための編成だろうがそれにしても少人数。
その代わり、現代オケでは味わえない新鮮さと、明瞭さがあり
非常に面白い。

またこのＣＤでは、コープマンが即興でチェンバロを弾いている。
最初は違和感があるが聴き慣れてくると「なるほど！」と
思わせるのはさすがである。

現代の大げさな交響楽団に慣れた耳には異質に響くかもしれないが、
当時の楽器（コピーも含めて）を使用して、演奏方法、人数など、
オーケストラの配置などを出来るだけ当時のやり方に則って
演奏する古楽器演奏はやはり格別である。

小編成のオリジナル楽器のオーケストラだからといって、
「響きがスカスカになり、ギスギスした感じになる」
というようなことは、まったくない。
それよりも、この明快で各楽器のパートが際立つ
オーケストレーションに慣れてくると、
現代オーケストラの分厚すぎる響きがまだるっこしくて
かえってそちらのほうが、いやになってくる。

ことモーツァルトに関しては、スピード感、透明感、浮遊感
がなくてはどうにも話にならないのである。


代表的なオーケストラの特徴を以下に簡単に記す。

コープマンの演奏スタイルは総じてテンポを速めにとり、
明快で、メリハリのある音楽にしている。
モーツァルトの初期〜中期の作品に関しては
抜群に相性が良いと思う。

ブリュッヘンと18世紀オーケストラの演奏は、
どちらかというとエネルギッシュで外向的な
演奏といえる。

ガーディナーとバロック・ソロイスツの演奏は
なるべく奇をてらわず、正攻法でいて、
その音楽は深く内向的である。

ホグウッドとエンシェント管のものは
一番先鋭的で、いつも問題提起を起こす。
ある意味、スケープ・ゴート的な存在である。

　最初２９番の出だしを聴いたとき速すぎると思った。しかし、聞き進むにつけ、引きつけられ、速度のことなど気にならなくなりました。何に魅力を感じたかといいますと、弦楽器と管楽器のバランスが理想的だと思います。おそらくモーツァルトは、このような響きを考えて曲を書いたのだと思います。２９番と３３番に入っているチェンバロの伴奏も古楽好きの私には気持ちよく聴けました。
　古楽のモーツァルトと言いますと元気は良いものの少しキツイ感じのする演奏が多い中で、コープマンの演奏は現代楽器のモーツァルト交響曲に慣れた耳にもあまり違和感が無く聴くことが出来ると思います。
