個人的にはチェンバロの音色が苦手なのですが、このCDは違和感なく楽しめました。
大胆にテンポを変えている箇所もありますが、こういう解釈もありなのかなと思います。スピード感が心地よく感じます。
ピアノ版も含めた、この曲の数多くの名演に肩を並べた会心の演奏と言って良いと思います。

思えばチェンバロに本当に出会ったのがこの曲でした。有名どこはほとんど聞いたし、アルバムも色々購入しました。心底この曲にのめりこむときはやはりリヒターです。グールドの新旧も２枚通して聞きたくなります。ピノックやK、ジャレットも筋の通った演奏で一聴に値します。ただ、この曲のシチエーションにあった眠る前にリラックスするには曽根麻弥子の演奏が一番合っています。女性らしい感性のタッチがなんとも心地よくしてくれます。
