5.0 out of 5 stars 信頼の”RHINO”による最強のリマスター・ベスト。, 2004/6/17
いやー、本当に音質が最高です。さすが信頼の”RHINO”によるリマスタリング。脱帽です。選曲もツボを心得ているし、PURPLE初心者の方にまずはオススメしたいです。そして往年のファンの方々もコレは聴いておくべきです。これまでの作品とはまるで音質が違います。素晴らしい！

ここ数年、このRHINOを筆頭に、リマスタリング技術の向上は目覚ましいものがありますね。逆にCCCD問題など、現在の音楽業界には”逆風”も吹いていますが、この作品のような、熱心な音楽ファンを納得させるようなモノが売れることにより、僕ら音楽ファンも”逆風”に立ち向かっていけるような気がします。真の音楽ファンならば、（今作だけにこだわらず）一度RHINOによるリマスター盤に耳を傾けてみることをオススメします。

何年も前。
パープルのベスト盤を買った。それ以来のお気に入り。
ところがだ。
このアルバム、リマスタリングが施され音質が格段に向上している！
また録音したのかと思うほどのこの威力！
さ、最高だ。
みなさんおっしゃってるとは思うが、スピードキングのイントロがないのがちと寂しいかな？
しかし！この内容ならまずは買い。
そして聞く！

ああ、最高だ！

一番悲しいのは、彼らの現役のステージ見たかったなー

リマスタリングにより格段に向上した音質と文句のつけようがない選曲。
数あるパープルのベスト版の中でも「ベスト中のベスト」と言っても差し支えないアルバムである。
初めてディープ・パープルを聴く人がいたら是非勧めたい。

ディープ・パープルの楽曲は今なおＣＭなどに使用されることも多く、誰もがどこかで聞いたことのある曲が多い。そういった意味でもこのアルバムはバンドのことをよく知らない人が聞いても充分楽しめるのでは？
