　ＧＣＳのアルバムはどれもとても楽しくて素晴らしく、どのアルバムを聴いても、ゴリゴリという凄まじいサウンドと強力にグルーヴするラリーグラハムのベースに圧倒されることと思います。「とにかくラリーの圧倒的なベースプレイを！」と言う方は、「ＰＯＷ」の入っている「いかしたファンキーラジオ」の方をお薦めしますが、「ＧＣＳというバンドとしての魅力」という側面からすれば、この「ダイナマイトミュージック」をお薦めしたいと思います。
　「いかした~」は、バンド結成時のオリジナルメンバーはほとんど残っておらず、ＧＣＳというよりはラリーグラハムのソロアルバム的色合いが強いようです。

　しかしこの「ダイナマイトミュージック」はバンドがノリにノリまくっている時期のアルバムといことだけあって、ラリーのベースばかりでなく他のメンバーのプレイも聴き所満載。特に2、4で聴けるバンドの紅一点チョコレートのパワフルでソウルフルなヴォーカルが最高です。

　楽曲ももろファンクといえるものから、ロックンロール調のもの、ムーディなバラードまで充実しており最後まで飽きさせません。
　もちろんラリーのプルをあまり多用しないゴリゴリとぶっといサウンドのチョッパーベースも十分堪能できます。

　個人的にバンドとしての魅力が大爆発の１枚と勝手に思っているところです。最後に余談ですが、ラリーのゴリゴリサウンドのベースは、フレージングも含め、昔のプログレバンドのピック弾きベースが好きな人にもお薦めだと思います。

１曲目のジャムは、打楽器かと思うくらいチョッパーしています。３曲目のイッツオールライトは、ファンク独特の盛り上がりというか、「いつの間に盛り上がったの？」という感じでいいです。

ここまで打楽器のようにベースを使われると、ベースが無いように聞こえてきます。プリンスのKissのようなベース無しの曲はここらがルーツになるんでしょうかねぇ。
