私がモントローズを知ったのは､現ヴァンヘイレンのサミーのヴォーカルが在籍していたという事がきっかけです。モントローズって調べたとき、何か見覚えのあるジャケットだと思って自分の家にある父のレコードとかCDを漁っていたらありました。そして早速針を落として聴き始めたとき､やっぱり「これはサミーのヴォーカルだ!」なんて思いました。しかし何度か聴いているうちに、ロニー・モントローズや、ドラム（誰だったか忘れたけど）に聞き惚れてしまいました。ちょっとギターはジミー・ペイジーに似ているけど、ハードロックらしくてかっこいい。ドラムのサウンドもGREAT!。それ以外も勿論グレイトです。
