DURAN DURAN,GUN'S,SEX PISTOLS。メンバーの出身母体です。
意外？ここではPUNKがキーワード。そして，スティーヴ･ジョーンズ。
チャリティーで始めたお遊びが，アルバム制作まで発展したBANDです。
難しい事はやってない。
が，しかし当時それぞれのBANDが抱えていた問題を考えると，この単純さがかえってスカッとする。

ロックン･ロールを心底楽しめます。楽しんでます。

プロデュ-スは元TAKING HEADSのジェリー･ハリスン
レーヴェルはマドンナのマーヴェリック。
これだけでもセンスの良さがわかると思うのだけども。

LIVEでは日替わりで豪華なゲストが参加したんだよなー。
イギ-･ポップ，ビリー･アイドル，サイモン･ルボン，スラッシュ，スティーヴ･スティーヴンス，THE CULT,ブライアン･セッツァ-等など。

それだけ，楽しんで尚且つ注目を集めたBANDです。
日本じゃいまいち取り上げられなかったけどね。
若い人達にこそ聴いてもらいたいな。
大人の男達がロックすると，カッコ良いと。

　このアルバムを聴いて感じたこと。とにかく武骨でかっこいい。子供の頃初めてロックに接したときに感じた戦慄を思い出しました。わかりやすいメロディ、力強さ、楽しさ・・・。聴いているだけで元気が沸いてくるアルバムです。変にリスナーに媚びようとするいやらしさを微塵も感じさせないピュアなロックンロール。このアルバムもう手放せません。
　そしてジョンテイラーのベース。うねり、ドライヴ感。かっこよく年をとって、こんなにかっこいいロックベースをガンガン弾いて・・もう最高です。
　若い頃ロックが好きだったという人は、これを聴いて元気をとりもどしましょう。

SEX PISTOLSのスティーブ・ジョーンズ、DURAN DURANのジョン・テイラー、Guns’n’Rosesのダフ・マッケイガン、マットソーラムによって結成されたバンド。当時、各メンバーともバンド本体の活動がいまひとつ波に乗り切れていない状況でそれぞれに暗中模索の時期だったのだろうと思う。

パンクロックの定義そのもののようなスティーブ・ジョーンズのギターを中心にキャッチーな楽曲が並んでいる（スティーブ・ジョーンズによる歌詞はお下劣極まりないものではあるが）。発売した当時から、あまり大きな話題にはならなかったが、機会があれば知り合いに薦めている一枚である。

このアルバムを発表した後、ジョン・テイラーはDURAN DURANに復帰、ダフとマットはVelvet Revolverで第一線に戻ってきている。スティーブ・ジョーンズはPISOTPLSの再々結成などをこなしつつ、相変わらずＬＡ周辺で飲んだくれている模様（よくＬＡのＬｉｖｅにゲスト出演している）。

このプロジェクトは、各メンバーにとってまさに「原点回帰」の作業だったのだろう。で、「原点」そのものであるスティーブ・ジョーンズには何の変化も及ばなかったのかもしれない。

キャチーなメロディーが満載なのはいいのだが、なんか引っかかるようなひねりがないのが残念です。遊び感覚が強いぶん良い意味での緊張感が欠けているように思える。
