アカペラという括りでなく単純に音楽として聴いて欲しい。
当たり前だが声のみで構成されている。声というのは人間にとって最も安心できる楽器ではないか。というのも、人間が最初に音楽をやり始めたのは声であり、その意味では時代を超えた究極の音楽形態と言える。

ジャズを即興音楽とするならアカペラは真逆の超計画的音楽のはずだが不思議とそれらが同居している。一聴の価値あり。

彼らの完璧なヴォーカル・テクニックとハーモニーには驚ろかされる。70年代に活躍したSingers Unlimitedは多重録音を駆使して驚異的なハーモニーを実現させたが、TAKE 6 はそれをライブで細工なしにこなしてしまう実力を持っている。
はっきりしたゴスペルメッセージともの凄いテクニックを持った最強のアカペラ・グループ。

６人の黒人のコーラス・グループのアルバムである。楽器のない声だけの、すなわちアカペラの曲集である。声のさわやかさ・美しさ、リズムの良さは、ほんとうにほれぼれする。特にIf we everは是非多くの人に聴いてもらいたい。
