魂をゆるがすゴスペルを聴かせてくれるTAKE6の奇跡の歌声は、ゴスペルじゃなくともやはり神聖なまでの輝きです。豪華なゲストアーティスト、あきれるほど達者なヴォーカル（11.フォー・マイルスなんか、知らずに聴いたらほんとにインストルメンタルだと思いそう）、多彩な選曲（9.バディヤで思わず歓声。はまってる）、これでもかといわんばかりの魅力にたっぷりと酔いしれつつ、聴き通した後の神々しいような爽やかさは、終曲14.ララバイの純粋な美しい響きから来るのかも知れません。表現の形はよりポップになっても、彼らの根っこはやはりゴスペル、そんな感じがします。いい気持ちになれる一枚です。

楽器が取り入れられ、アルバム全体がオシャレな感じになってしまった。アルバム「take6」や「He is Christmas」を聞いて、あの深みのあるコーラスと重厚な雰囲気、あのゴスペルのような感じをもとめて購入すると、悲しい思いをしてしまうかもしれない。

☆改めてこの“TAKE6”を紹介しましょう。このアルバム以降、「TAKE6」のサウンドは大きく変わりました。ホイットニー・ヒューストンが映画「ボディー・ガード」（ケヴィン・コスナー主演）でサウンド・トラックの多くの曲を歌っていますが、その中の「オール・ウェイズ・ラヴ・ユー」をカバーした（ＣＭ曲）のが大変評判が良く、その名前を広く知らしめたと思います。（これは、ベスト盤、または、シングルで聞くことができます。）〈01：CAN'T KEEP GOIN' ON AND ON〉はもう本当にかっこ良く、６人のハーモニーが実にきれいです。
