アメリカンロックの遺産。バンドとしてのベストアメリカンロックは、個人的に、ザ・バンド、バーズ、そしてフィートです。初めてフィートの魅力を俯瞰したいかたには、もってこいのアルバムがこれです。もちろんフィートを語ろうとすれば、オリジナルアルバムの「セイリン・シューズ」、「ＤｉｘｉｅＣｈｉｃｋｅｎ」、「アメイジング」は欠かせないわけですが、まずはフィートを知りたいという人には、大変向いているＣＤです。８０年代の再結成後の「レット・イット・ロール」までもが収録されていますから文字通りの俯瞰がかないます。冒頭からの３連発でもう文句なし、（９）のグルーヴは圧巻、（１１）はアトランタオリンピックのＴＶ放送ではよくバックに流れていましたが御機嫌なロック。このＣに頷けたひとは、さあ、オリジナルアルバムで泥沼にはまって下さい。幸せなほどの泥沼ですよ。
