ドイツの行進曲というと「双頭の鷲の下に」と「錨を上げて」,それと「旧友」だけだと思ったら大間違い。なんと,この史上空前の「ドイツ行進曲大全集」には,のべ800曲のドイツ・マーチが収録されている。ドイツを代表するレコード会社テレフンケン社(戦前はテルデック社)が戦前戦後50年間に録音したドイツ・マーチの集大成だ。CD40枚に及ぶこの大全集はCD-1からCD-5までが戦前,戦中のモノーラル(SP)録音だがCD-6からはステレオ録音だ。16世紀以降のファンファーレや歴史的な行進曲も収められており,これは,単なる行進曲のコレクションという以上に,半世紀にわたるドイツ音楽文化史の資料としても大きな価値をもつものだ。

CD６からステレオ録音と書いてあるが、CD４からステレオ録音です。
テレフォンケン吹奏楽団の演奏は見事聞き応えがあります。第三帝国の演奏ごとく花火を打ち上げる様な演奏は見事！値段は張りますがそれ以上の価値が有ると思います。
