新録音、新アレンジとなっておりますが　つまりは　セルフ・カヴァーってことです。
古いキング時代の音源はＣＤ化されてもやはり鮮明さに欠けております。
デジタル・リマスタリングという手法がまだ特殊だった頃のお話ですが　そういえば　セルフ・カヴァーって言葉も一般的ではなかったような気がします。

「ガチャガチャ昔の音源いじるより録り直ししようよ」で出てきたアルバムだと思うのですが、大成功ですね。
かつて、「スゲ~かっこいい」と思っていたのは　”若さや情報不足や思い込み”ではなく、本当に名曲なんだと再確認できました。

たくさんベストが出ていますがこれをおすすめします。

アースシェイカーを知ってから20年程経ちますが、今もなお色あせることのないメロディ、曲。更に新録音とあって新しい命がふきこまれています。ヴォーカル、ギター、ドラム、ベース、キーボードのテクニックももちろん最高潮です。これを聴いてない人はかなりの損をしてますね。と断言してしまいます。
とにかく能書きは後回しにして1度お聞きになることをおすすめします。

いろいろとBESTと呼ばれているのがありますが、このアルバムが一番良いかもしれませんね。
アレンジ、メンバーの演奏力、円熟味、音の良さ、どれをとっても聞き応えあります。
他のリマスター版を買って当時を思い出すのも良いですけど、これを買って今のアースシェイカーを
感じてください！
色あせてないです。
オススメの一枚に加わるはずです！
