　インディーズ発表でありながら売上げチャート10位内に入ったということでも有名なシングルである。それを何よりも物語るように、曲自体がとても聴きやすいもので、主流の楽曲にも引けを取らない。だがそれはメロディのみのことであり、個性が失われているわけではない。

　歌詞と歌声は切なさに満ちているが、ただただ悲しいということはなく、表現力が豊かであるのと同時にポップな曲作りも心得ているのだと感じた。B面曲はなかなかに衝撃的な歌詞であるが、曲として聴きづらさは微塵もない。また曲調共に表題曲と好対照だ。歌詞には関連性も見える。
　彼らの中でも特に幅広い層に受け入れられる一枚ではないだろうか。

この曲は、軽い感じでとても聞きやすい曲で気に入ってます。
詩なども深くて、この曲の世界に入りやすいです。一度、聞いてみて下さい。

このI'llという曲、購入以前からポップというのは聞いていましたが、まさかこれほどポップとは・・・。今のDir en greyしか知らない人は聞いた瞬間、びっくりした事でしょう。何しろ全くと言ってほど曲調違うのですから・・・。(それは彼らが進化したという事なのでしょう。)彼らの曲は非常にドロドロとした、深い世界観を持つ曲が多いのですが、この曲は恐ろしいくらい爽やかです。しかし、それも彼らの持ち味。一般層の方でもすんなり聞ける美しいポップナンバーです。
