初期の４枚から選ばれたハードロック（現在のメタルの源流）ばかりから
成る最新編集のベスト盤です。
元祖ハードロックとしてのゼップはこの一枚で充分ともいえるでしょう。
２１世紀の現在では、全曲ともに、古典中の古典といえる曲ばかりです。
いまだにシングル盤は未発売の"Stairway To Heaven"が収録されており、

この曲を聞くためには、一枚物のＣＤとしては、本ＣＤか４枚目を
購入することになりますが、もしゼップ初心者の方がどちらにしようか
迷っている場合は、ハード・メタル系が好みなら本ＣＤを、
ゼップの幅広い音楽性を楽しみたいなら４枚目をお薦めします。

5.0 out of 5 stars 「コミュニケーションブレイクダウン」の映像つき初期ベストアルバム, 2007/1/16
Ｌゼップ１・２・３・４枚目からの有名な曲を集めたアルバムです。「ゴナリーブユー」「Since I've been loving you」「ロックンロール」もちろん「天国への階段」も含めすべてゼップの名曲ばかりで無駄がありません。さらに、躍動感あふれるデヴューしたころのＬゼップの映像も見られます。Ｌゼップをこれから聴きたいという人には、ちょうど良い選曲ではないでしょうか。これ1枚で4枚分ですよ。
